if you want the bread to have bigger pores (like a ciabatta!) you could try not kneading it in between rising and baking. Or knead and then let it rise for a little while longer before you put it into the oven. I’m assuming it’s not whole-wheat because if it is, good luck of finding a way to un-dense the crumb (in the inlikely case you do, shaaaaare please :D).
